Steak And Kidney Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef
    4 oz. kidney
    1 oz. flour
    1 oz. oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 pt. beef stock
Preparation
    Cut steak and kidney into bite size pieces; put in a bag with flour and toss until well coated.
    Melt drippings in a saucepan; add meat and onion.
    Fry until brown.
    Stir in stock and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Stir in mushrooms and allow 30 minutes for cooking. Put in dish to cool.
    Put pastry over mixture.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven.
