Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. broccoli
    4 green onions
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. peeled cubed potatoes
    5 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    salt and pepper
    3/4 c. canned evaporated milk
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Wash broccoli, green onions and cut stems and tops.
    Saute broccoli and onions in butter, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes.
    Add potatoes and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cook about 20 minutes.
    Thicken the milk with cornstarch, stirring with wire whisk until smooth.
    Add to first mixture and cook slowly for a few minutes.
    Serve with shredded cheese on top.
