Red Tomato Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 qt. ripe tomatoes
1 doz. medium onions
6 to 8 bell peppers
3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cloves
1 Tbsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. salt
1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
-
Chop vegetables.
Add salt.
Cook until some of the juice boils down.
Add all other ingredients.
Cook slowly until thick, about 2 hours.
