Peanut Butter Fudge Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Karo
    3/4 c. peanut butter (plain or crunchy)
    1/3 c. soft butter
    3/4 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. or 1 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Blend well the syrup, peanut butter, vanilla, butter and salt. Gradually add sugar, making this a very stiff mixture. Knead well, mixing in pecans.
    Press into buttered 8-inch pan.
    Chill until firm.
