Oriental Scallops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 scallions, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 tsp. margarine
1 lb. scallops
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 Tbsp. grated ginger root
1 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Place onions and margarine in a 9 x 9-inch Pyrex dish. Microwave, uncovered, at High for 2 minutes or until margarine is melted.
Stir in scallops, orange rind, ginger root, teriyaki sauce and pepper.
Cover with plastic or wax paper.
Microwave on High for 3 minutes or until scallops are opaque.
Remove scallops and onions with slotted spoon, reserving liquid.
