Country Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. country style ribs
    salt
    pepper
    flour
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. oil
    4 apples
    1 red onion
    6 small red new potatoes
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Season ribs with salt and pepper to taste.
    Dredge in flour. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of oil in skillet. Brown half of ribs.
    Repeat procedure with remaining butter, oil and ribs.
    Reserve pan drippings.
