Dandelion Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 heaping T. flour
    4 c. milk
    1 t. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. dandelion greens, watercress or endive, chopped
    1 T. white sugar
    Salt to taste
    3 hard cooked eggs, sliced
    4 slices Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Fry bacon, reserving 1/2 c. grease. Add flour to grease and stir until toasted. Add milk, stirring briskly with a wire whip. Add salt, vinegar, sugar and cheese and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Just before serving, fold in crumbled bacon, eggs and greens. Serve over mashed potatoes.
