Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. bread cubes, toasted
1/2 c. raisins
1 qt. milk
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine bread cubes and raisins in buttered casserole.
Scald milk in saucepan.
In separate bowl, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, butter and salt.
Mix this and milk together.
Mix well and pour over bread cubes. Set casserole in pan and pour hot water in pan around casserole, about 1-inch deep of water.
Bake
at 325\u00b0 about 1 hour or until butter knife inserted comes out clean.
Serve with Rum Sauce.
