Streusel Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    3/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 egg, beaten
    14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. cold margarine or butter
    18 caramels, unwrapped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and egg.
    Cut in 1/2 cup margarine/butter until crumbly.
    Stir in nuts.
    Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture; press remainder firmly on bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake 15 minutes.
