Buttered Celery - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 large stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 3 c.)
    butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook celery in boiling salted water until tender, about 10 minutes; drain.
    Add butter and stir until melted and celery is coated.
    Season to taste.
