Ingredients

4 or 5 potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. flour
oil (deep fat frying)
Preparation

Wash and peel potatoes.
Slice for French fries.
Soak in cold water for an hour or more.
Drain off water; salt and pepper. Tumble potatoes with flour.
Drop few at a time in hot oil.
Cook until golden brown.
I use deep fat fryer.
