Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage, cut up
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. diced onion
    1 garlic or garlic salt
    1 tsp. basil
    2 small zucchini, sliced (not peeled)
    2 carrots, sliced
    1 lb. can Italian tomatoes (undrained)
    2 (10 oz.) cans beef bouillon
    2 c. finely chopped cabbage
    salt and pepper
    1 lb. can white kidney beans (undrained)
    1/2 c. rice
    1/2 c. red wine
    grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley
Preparation
    In large pot on stove, slice sausage in olive oil.
    Add onion, garlic, carrots and basil.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add zucchini, tomatoes, bouillon and cabbage and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for one hour.
    Add beans, rice and wine.
    Cook on low for 20 minutes.
