Baked Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat, cut in small pieces
    1 c. onion
    1 c. celery
    1 c. carrots
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 c. potatoes
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place all except potatoes in a pan and cover tightly. (Casserole may be used).
    Bake in oven at 250\u00b0.
    Quarter one cup of potatoes and add about 1 1/2 hours before done.
    Serve when potatoes are done.
    About halfway through cooking time, remove cover and stir, return to oven.
