Chunky Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large glass bowl.
    Cover bowl with wax paper; cook on High 8 to 11 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Stir once.
    Let stand covered for 7 minutes.
    Mash apples until chunky; serve warm or chilled.
    Makes 5 1/2 cups.
