Chow Chow Pickle(Mrs. Elva Tucker'S Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    1 head cabbage
    3 lb. onions
    3 red peppers
    3 green peppers
    1 can sweet pickle
    3 Tbsp. salt
    7 1/2 lb. sugar
    3 pt. vinegar
    your favorite spices (I use celery seed)
Preparation
    Cut up vegetables, mix well with salt.
    Drain overnight.
    Next morning make syrup with remaining ingredients.
    Boil 40 minutes, then add all other ingredients and bring to boil; boil five minutes.
    Can while hot.
