Milk Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. bacon, sausage or vegetable oil
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 3/4 c. milk (whole milk best)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation

Heat oil on medium heat in iron skillet.
Sprinkle flour over oil and *cook until well mixed.
Slowly stir milk into hot mixture; cook until blended.
Add salt and pepper.
Stir constantly until thickened, about 15 minutes.
