New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can baby clams (10 oz.)
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 medium onions, chopped
    3 c. milk
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    1/4 tsp. m.s.g. (optional)
    2 Tbsp. salt pork
    4 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In covered 2-quart pan, boil clams in own water with potatoes, bouillon cubes, sugar and m.s.g. until potatoes are tender.
    Saute onions in salt pork until tender, but not scorched.
    Add onions to clam mixture and heat over low heat.
