Esta'S Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks butter, soft
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/8 c. milk

Preparation

Mix the first 6 ingredients well.
Add all 6 eggs.
Mix well but don't beat to death.
Add flour and milk until blended.
Spray two 8 or 9-inch cake pans with Baker's Joy.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes until knife comes out clean in center.
Turn out on rack to cool.
