Overnight Caramel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. cake flour
    4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. melted shortening
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
    Melt shortening and cool; add to mixture.
    Beat eggs and mix well; add vanilla and mix well.
    Form dough into four or five rolls and refrigerate overnight.
    Slice and bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, placing them on ungreased cookie sheet.
