Crackling Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1 or 2 c. cracklings
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Heat oil in iron skillet until hot.
    Mix all remaining ingredients together; pour into hot skillet.
    With spoon, dip oil from sides of skillet to center of corn bread, making little puddles all over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 until golden brown and crusty.
