Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    12 oz. bag caramels
    1 stick butter
    1 can condensed sweetened milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    In double boiler, melt caramels and butter. Add sweetened milk to mixture. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Pour caramel mixture over cake.
    Then sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped walnuts over mixture.
    Pour the other half of batter over all. Bake for another 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
