Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake or pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water
    1 beaten egg (room temperature)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. melted shortening or oil
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Knead a little. Let rise until double.
    Make into rolls.
    Let rise again.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    Yields 1 dozen.
