Nanny'S Pink Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped cherries
1 c. crushed pineapple (juice too)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 pt. whipped cream or 2 c. Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix cream cheese with mayo.
Mix all other ingredients.
Last, add the whipped cream.
Freeze in square Pyrex 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch dish.
Serve on lettuce leaf after the salad is frozen. Cut it into squares.
Really good with chicken or turkey.
This may be served before freezing.
Reminds me of pistachio salad.
We like it best frozen.
