Taffy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all together; boil.
    Bring to 275\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Put on buttered dishes (saucers); cool slightly, still warm to the touch.
    Lightly butter hands, pull and enjoy.
