A Tart Sauce For Broccoli, Asparagus, Cauliflower, Etc. - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. sugar
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. or 1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. cream or half and half, well beaten
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cook the first 5 ingredients together, then add the cream or half and half and the egg.
    Cook a little longer.
    Add mixture to cream and egg, then add to original pan.
