German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks (reserve whites)
2 2/3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 pkg. grated German sweet chocolate
1 small pkg. chocolate bits
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks; beat.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add to butter mixture.
Add vanilla.
Gradually add milk.
Beat reserved egg whites; fold into batter.
Add 1/2 of grated chocolate.
Pour into large, oblong greased and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Sprinkle chocolate bits over top of cake.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
Remove cake from oven; sprinkle with remaining German chocolate.
Dust with 10x sugar.
