Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake until lightly browned but still soft, at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
