Green Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium green tomatoes
    3 large Vidalia onions
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 Tbsp. diced pimientos
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes and onions.
    Cook in large skillet with butter until mushy.
    Stir in curry powder, salt, peppers and water chestnuts, sliced.
    Let mixture cool, then stir in sour cream and pimientos.
    Pour into shallow casserole and top with a mixture of bread crumbs and cheese.
    Bake about 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven or until bubbly and crumbs are brown.
    Serves 8.
