Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked squash
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 deep dish pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add milk and sugar.
    Mash and strain cooked squash. Add salt and spices.
    Combine the 2 mixtures and blend well. Fill deep pie shell.
    Bake about 10 minutes in a hot 450\u00b0 oven; reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes or until custard is set.
