Jalapeno Cornbread With Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. bacon grease
    1 (8 oz.) can corn (cream-style)
    2 lb. ground meat
    1 large onion, diced
    1 lb. grated yellow cheese
    jalapeno (add as many as you like)
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, milk, eggs, salt, soda, bacon grease and corn.
    Mix well.
    Brown meat until crumbly; drain well on a paper towel.
    Pour half the corn meal batter into well greased skillet or baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cheese, then cooked meat, diced onion and chopped jalapenos.
    Top with remaining batter.
    Bake for about 50 minutes in a preheated oven.
