Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) can frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate (3/4 c.)
2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. tapioca
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
5 c. sliced apples (Golden Delicious are good)
Preparation

Need pastry for a double crust pie.
Cook together the apple juice, flour, tapioca, cinnamon and nutmeg until it begins to thicken.
Add the apples and cool slightly.
Fill the pastry shell and dot with butter.
Fit top crust and cut slits on top.
Bake at 415\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, then bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
