Silver Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    3/4 lb. flour
    1/2 lb. butter
    11 egg whites
    1 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add flour, then sugar and flavoring. Add egg whites last, that have been beaten stiff.
    Frost with white frosting.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
