Mamma'S Chicken Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cooked hen, stewed
    broth from hen
    3/4 c. cooked white rice
    7 to 8 homemade biscuits
    1 cake pan muffin-type egg cornbread
    3 slices light bread
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    8 chopped boiled eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix rice, crumbled biscuits, crumbled muffin bread, light bread, torn in pieces, celery, onions and eggs.
    Add broth from stewed hen to this mixture and allow for some evaporation during baking.
    Cook in a big greased baking pan at about 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 more minutes. Pieces of hen can be arranged on top of dressing before baking. Serve with giblet gravy.
