Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate bits
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream, then dry ingredients, nuts and bits last.
    Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, then frost with Caramel Icing.
