Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. raw apples
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat the first 7 ingredients well with a mixer until blended and then with a large spoon. Add apples, raisins and nuts.
Pour into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes in the 9 x 13-inch pan or 45 minutes to 1 hour in a tube pan.
