Pickled Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. green tomatoes
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. Mazola oil
    1/2 onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic
Preparation
    Bring to a boil sugar, vinegar and salt.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Put cut up green tomatoes, sliced onion and garlic in quart jar. Cover with boiling mixture of vinegar and let stand 3 days before eating.
