Bran Flake Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. skim milk
1/4 c. oil or applesauce
3 c. Post Bran flakes
1/3 c. raisins or nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Mix flour, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in large bowl.
Beat egg whites in a small bowl and stir in milk and oil.
Add to the flour mixture.
Stir until mixed (batter will be lumpy).
Stir in cereal and raisins.
Spoon batter into greased muffin pan, filling each cup 2/3 full.
Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
