German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, hard-cooked
    8 large potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 1/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/4 to 1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. water
    paprika
Preparation
    A.M. or day before:
    Boil eggs and cool. Chop onions.
    Boil potatoes with jackets in salted water until tender.
    Drain and cool.
