Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 7 tart apples or 2 (No. 2) cans sliced pie apples, drained
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. enriched flour
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Pare apples and cut in eighths.
    Arrange in unbaked shell. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon.
    Sprinkle over apples. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
