Maple Walnut Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    7 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. cold water
    2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Pan size:
    tube pan.
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in with fork the brown sugar.
    Make a well and add oil, egg yolks, cold water, maple flavoring and vanilla.
    Beat until smooth.
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until it holds very stiff peaks. Pour first mixture over egg whites in thin stream.
    Fold gently; this is very important.
    One cup of finely chopped nuts may be added last.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 65 to 70 minutes.
