Italian Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 lb. boneless chuck roast
    1 c. chopped mushrooms, raw or canned
    1 crushed garlic clove
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. chopped green olives
    1 can tomato paste
    1 large can (1 qt.) tomatoes
    1 large can tomato sauce, about 1 c.
    1 Tbsp. oregano
Preparation
    Place meat in a hot skillet and sear for 1 minute on each side.
    Then place meat in a crock-pot.
    Put all other ingredients on top of meat.
    Cover and cook on high setting for 2 hours, then on low for 6 hours.
    If you are in a hurry, cook on high for 4 1/2 hours.
    The longer it cooks in the crock-pot the better it is. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, spaghetti or noodles.
