Ham 'N Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. diet margarine
1/4 c. plain flour
2 pkg. low-sodium chicken bouillon
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 c. skim milk
2 c. water
2 c. fresh broccoli flowerets or frozen cut broccoli
4 oz. Healthy Choice lean ham, chopped
Preparation

In large saucepan cook onion in diet margarine until tender. Stir in flour, chicken bouillon, mustard, thyme and pepper.
Add milk and water all at once.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.
Stir broccoli and ham into soup.
Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, until broccoli is tender.
Serves 2 (313 calories, 25 g protein, 9.8 g fat, 5 mg cholesterol and 591 mg sodium).
