Clam Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    12 clams, ground, or 1 can minced clams
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. melted butter
    1/4 c. clam liquid
Preparation
    Mix and sift flour, salt and pepper.
    Add clam liquid, milk and eggs.
    Stir until well blended.
    Add clams and butter.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Drop from spoon into deep hot fat.
    Fry for 4 to 6 minutes.
