Jumbo Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 c. raisins, boil and cool, don't drain
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. white sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs well.
    Add vanilla and cooled raisin mixture.
    Set aside.
    Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
    Add to raisin mixture and blend well.
    Add 1 cup chopped nuts.
    Drop on cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 6 dozen.
