Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick each: butter and margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. walnuts or pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream butter and margarine well with sugar.
Add vanilla; mix.
Add flour, nuts and chocolate chips. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a 13 x 9-inch jelly roll pan.
Cool and cut in squares.
