Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter (do not substitute)
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation

Grease and flour a tube pan; set aside.
Sift flour.
Add baking soda and sift twice more; set aside.
Cream butter.
Add sugar gradually and cream together well until fluffy.
Add egg yolks one by one (saving egg whites in a separate bowl), mixing well.
Add sour cream and flour mixture alternately, mixing well between each addition.
Beat egg whites until fluffy and fold into batter.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
