Orange Sherbet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large orange jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 pt. orange sherbet
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    1 can mandarin oranges
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water; add sherbet and mix well.
    When partially set, add orange slices and fold in whipped cream.
    Pour into 1 1/2 quart bowl or ring mold.
    Chill to set.
    Serves 8.
