Hot Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    1 small can Hershey's chocolate syrup
    1 stick butter
    1 small can cream
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add flour, vanilla, eggs (one at a time), syrup and nuts, if desired.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Melt butter, cream and sugar.
    Bring to a boil and add chocolate chips.
    Pour on hot cake.
    Can be refrigerated and reheated.
