Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Sift together all dry ingredients and then add to the creamed mixture. Scoop out by tablespoon and roll into balls.
Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with a fork before baking. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
