Fruit Crisp With Streusel Topping - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. peeled, sliced, tart apples or other fruit
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. enriched flour
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
Preparation

Arrange peeled, sliced apples in baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inch). Place rolled oats, flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and mix until well blended.
Add soft butter or margarine and blend well with pastry blender or fork.
Spread oatmeal mixture on top of apples and press down lightly.
Preheat oven to moderate heat (350\u00b0).
Make sure rack is in the center position in the oven. Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is brown and apples are tender when tested with a fork.
